New grants announced June 2016

25 June 2016

The Rothschild Foundation is delighted to announce funding for more than 40 organisations, totalling over £6 million. Further details of these grants are outlined here.

A major grant was awarded for the Illuminated River, an ambitious public art project for lighting the bridges in Central London. Other significant arts beneficiaries include the Factum Foundation to support their innovative 3D portraiture scanning, showcased at both the Royal Academy and at Waddesdon Manor; and Modern Art Oxford.

The Rothschild Foundation’s commitment to Education continues with support to Teach First (through their Futures programme) and Into University, both aiming to widen access to higher education among disadvantaged young people. Our support of Environmental programmes expands national excellence at the Cambridge Conservation Institute, and locally through seminars hosted at Windmill Hill on the Waddesdon Estate.  The community close to Waddesdon and in wider Buckinghamshire will benefit from support to older people through organisations such as Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, and Lindengate.
