Through the Covid-19 Support Fund we are supporting Wycombe Homeless Connection and Aylesbury Homeless Action Group to expand legal advice services into Aylesbury Vale.

Housing Legal Clinics has been successfully piloted by Wycombe Homeless Connection across Wycombe and Chesham over the past 12 months.  It provides those at risk of homelessness with access to expert legal advice and case management from a team of solicitors and Advocacy Support Workers. The service has been adapted into a hybrid model of Covid-19 safe in person and remote online support.  The two charities will work closely together in order to embed the service and share learning as the activity develops.  An increased risk of homelessness for those who are vulnerable is anticipated over the next 12 months following the lifting of the eviction ban and rise in unemployment.  By working with these highly experienced charity partners we hope to contribute to homelessness prevention in Bucks.
