We're Launching A Schools Access Fund

30 March 2021

Waddesdon Manor and the Rothschild Foundation have jointly launched a Schools Access Fund with the purpose of subsidising and promoting learning sessions for schools.

We aim to support well-being, enhance creative learning and enrich how schools teach the arts curriculum. We want to encourage new school audiences to experience Waddesdon and to take part in the Learning Department’s workshops and projects.

Schools can apply for a grant to cover some or all of the cost of a visit to Waddesdon of up to £750 and can bring any number of pupils.

Visits will take place in the academic year starting in September 2021 and can focus on the heritage of the Manor or take place in Waddesdon’s outdoor spaces.

Since school closures have significantly disrupted education and external visits have been restricted during the coronavirus pandemic, the Schools Access Fund has been set up to support learning and nurture the well-being of students.
