Launching our new Access Support Fund

10 April 2024

We are pleased to announce the Rothschild Foundation’s newly launched Access Support Fund. Aimed at ensuring greater accessibility to all our grants programmes, the fund has been designed to overcome barriers and provide necessary support to making an application.

Applicants can apply for an Access Support grant of £300 to address to literacy, language barriers, vision impairments, or other needs. The grant can be used to cover the cost of employing a support worker, scribe, translator, sign-language interpreter, or any other required assistance. We aim to make our website, online grants portal, application and reporting forms and guidance as accessible as possible.

Applying for the Access Support Fund is straightforward. If you would like Access Support, please reach out to the Grants team directly by phone or via email. Support workers can also assist by completing the online application form on your behalf.

Our first step will be to confirm that your organisation is eligible for the Rothschild Foundation’s grants programmes. We’ll ask you what help you need and how a support worker will assist you. Support Fund applications are reviewed swiftly and you can expect to hear within one month if a grant will be awarded.

The Access Support Fund is part of our commitment to be an accessible and inclusive funder. We welcome your feedback on the programme, especially if there are aspects we can adapt to better meet your needs.
