Bucks Data Exchange – Upcoming Events
19 November 2021
Last year we partnered with New Philanthropy Capital (NPC) to discover how collaboration had changed during the coronavirus pandemic. Following on from that initial piece of work, we have been developing the Bucks Data Exchange, a collaboration between the Rothschild Foundation, Buckinghamshire Council, Leap, Heart of Bucks, Buckinghamshire New University and the Bucks VCSE Partnership Board. This is a multi–agency collaborative project to collect and share data on needs, demand and provision in Bucks. The recent national government report calling for better data and highlighting the role of charities and community in the government’s ‘Levelling up’ agenda have reinforced how important this type of initiative is.
As part of the Bucks Data Exchange project the following online events have been organised, which hope to benefit those working in the sector use available data tools and explore trends. These events are free to attend, just register below:
‘Local Insight’ data training: Wednesday 8th December 2021
At this online event we will introduce charities and community sector organisations to the FREE data platform; ‘Local Insight’. This data can be used to support funding applications, strategy decisions and evaluations.
We will hear from Buckinghamshire Council’s Business Intelligence team, who will demo the Local Insight platform and explain its functionality. There will also be time for questions and discussion. The full details for this event are below.
