Strategic Fund

Through our Strategic Fund we want to work with organisations who share our priorities and are interested in working with us to bring about positive change for Buckinghamshire. Our support for culture and sustainable food has specific priorities detailed on the funding theme pages.

Grant requests over £30,000 must be submitted by 1st March 2024. Grant requests under £30,000 may be submitted at any time.

We have chosen our funding themes because they:

• Connect with the interests of Waddesdon Manor and Estate
• Support issues, sectors and demographic groups where there is evidence of significant need
• Focus on building a positive future and a resilient county

We encourage you to arrange a pre-application conversation with the Grants team, especially if you’re applying for a larger, multi-year grant, by emailing [email protected]

Grants of up to £5,000 for 1 year for incorporated associations, groups, societies and organisations not registered with a regulator, such as the Charity Commission or Companies House.

Grants of up to £100,000 per year for up to 3 years for organisations which are registered with a regulating body.

Applications of under £30,000 will hear the outcome of funding within 2-3 months.

Applications over £30,000 will be discussed at Trustees meetings in July and November each year and announced afterwards.

We encourage applications which help organisations to work together and welcome partnership approaches.

Strategic grantees will be asked to report back to the Foundation and share a breakdown of expenditure. We also like to visit funded projects when possible.
