As a charity, the Rothschild Foundation work in partnership with Waddesdon Estates LLP to manage the wider estate which comprises around 9,000 acres of parkland, agricultural land, Waddesdon Manor and its grounds.
As a charity, the Rothschild Foundation manage 72 residential properties in and around the villages of Waddesdon and Upper Winchendon, ranging from 19th century workers cottages to large, listed properties such as Grand Lodge, formerly the main entrance to the Manor. All profits from rental income go towards helping care for Waddesdon Manor and through the Rothschild Foundation, help fund work in the arts, local community and the environment.

Waddesdon Manor is surrounded by 6,000 acres of privately-owned estate (Waddesdon Estates LLP). It is managed by a team, combining commercial farming with a strong environmental approach to minimizing our carbon footprint. Waddesdon Estate LLP also has a number of residential and commercial properties available for rent in the villages of Waddesdon, Westcott and Upper Winchendon.
